Bursary Programs

The following bursaries are available to choir members in order to help reduce financial barriers for members and to encourage a greater youth representation in the choir. For more information, please contact: choir.manager@ottawachoralsociety.com

Choral Development Bursaries

This bursary is available to OCS members 18-30 years old. It requires an audition with the Music Director to demonstrate vocal and musical proficiency.

OCS Member Bursaries

This bursary is open to OCS members who have a minimum of one year’s membership in the OCS. Candidates must show commitment and dedication to the OCS in both artistic (rehearsal and concert participation) and choir-related activities (fundraising, volunteerism).

Sandy Bryce Bursaries

Established by the Bryce family in Sandy’s memory, these bursaries are designed to assist one or more singers in covering the cost of belonging to the OCS. Sandy Bryce was a long-standing and valued member of the Ottawa Choral Society.
